Beni Suef Beni Suef is the capital of Beni Suef governate, and an agricultural center in Egypt. Once famous for its linen production in the Middle Ages, it is still know for its cotton-spinning and carpet making today. The city is also known for its Museum containing sarcophagi, canopic jars and statues belonging to the Graeco-Roman period. |
